I have a part of my Tjänstepension with SEB, but after having read a lot on this forum I see that the 1% fee they charge is probably much higher than what I must pay. Where would be a better place to place this fund at a reasonable fee?
I moved this to SEB as a part my deal to get a good home loan, but now as I will be leaving the bank for another because I have favourable interest rate, I think I could as well move the Tjänstepension out. (I think I can move this out atleast)
I just started a 90/10 fund for my child in Lysa, can I move this to another Lysa account as well?
Lysa does not have Tjänstepension. Where you can move depends a lot on the details because a Tjänstepension is basically an insurance policy owned by your employer with you as beneficiary. This is why it’s always a borthersome process to move it.
Do you have a Kollektivavtal?
If so, which Kollektivavtal? Do you know if the pension is called something like “ITP1”, “KAP-KR” or some other magic phrase?
Do you remember how you moved it last time? Did you go to some web page or did you have to talk to your employer?
If it’s for the fund you selected, you can probably find a cheaper one at SEB. My wife has a small tjänstepension there and could find some ok indexfunds.
If it’s a percent as “skalavgift” or ”kapitalavgift”, the only way would be to move it from SEB to e.g. Avanza … but that could impact your mortgage so you might need to balance between the two, which is most important for now.
Ok, if they don’t give any more breakdown of costs, then check the fee for the funds you’ve chosen at SEB. If they are up towards 1%, then the fund selection is the culprit and you could make a better choose without moving, as an immediate step. Then decide later if to move it again or not. It anyways take some time to move it, so better to improve on the fund selection, if that now is the problem.

Why can’t I move this?
It is not possible to transfer contractual pensions to us. It can be, for example, SAF-LO, PA03, ITP, ITPK and KAP-KL.
This appears to be a pension into which you receive ongoing payments. Then you can’t move it to us without your employer saying okay first. You can always ask your employer!

Of those companies I’d probably chose AMF but others might be giving better advice
In the meantime I’d try to chose a cheaper fund at SEB. As it’s ITP I’d bet it’s the fund fee.
Collectively negotiated agreements like ITP are cheap and effective but you can’t move them anywhere you want. You need to stick to the list below as long as it’s ongoing payments … once you don’t have ongoing payments you could at that stage try to move it to eg Avanza but the employer can (and many say) no. It’s not your money yet. It’s an insurance with you as beneficiary so it’s the employer who decides.
Indeed! Is it a low value of the fund (recently started)? Maybe then it’s a fixed fee that increases the percentage to 0.7%. It sounds a lot for an ITP insurance
I also have ITP1 and I followed the advice from Småspararguiden:
That is, 50% must be in a traditional insurance, their suggestion is Alecta. 50% can be in mutual funds, their suggestion is SPP and then choose the fund Storebrand Global All-Countries (previously named SPP Global).
Only question is wether they would suggest Alecia today given the last few months turmoil there. Maybe AMF is an option for the 50% that must be in traditional management?
So, I went to Collectum and had a look at all funds. And SEB seems to be offered only as traditional with a fee of 0,08 so the actual fee from them in 2022 definitely seems strange. I might have to contact them for clarification.
