Swedish rental property ownership from Australia, and resolving joint ownership dispute ... any advice appreciated!

We are looking for ideas how to resolve this issue whilst minimising financial loss. Any ideas appreciated!

My partner bought a property with his father 10 years ago and they both put in 350,000kr for the deposit. Since they have renovated so there are two apartments providing rents and potential for 3 more. My partner has put in 2000 hours over this time and his father has put in a bit more.

The project has been damaging to their relationship and my partner wants out. We are moving to Australia so it will be difficult to manage a joint project from afar.

Other than selling this, how do we resolve it?

Well… selling would be the best way to make a clean cut. But since that is out of the question:

  • Setting up a contract stating partial ownership and a cut to the rent?
  • Creating a company (AB) with your partner owns partial stocks some how? (this will make your partner non exclusive tax payer to Sweden)
  • Selling it with a loan payoff? Say hourly rate 850SEK*2000+350 000 deposit+Renovation costs?
    Paying back with 5% interest rate with a payof over 10 years?

Just thoughts.
