Invesco Physical Gold (8PSG) har JPM som custodian för förvaringen av guldet men JPM kan använda sig av under-förvarare / sub-custodians. Det var uppe i guldtråden för länge sedan och är en orsak jag undviker Invesco varianten.
Visst, alla ETCer har med sig motpartsrisk men det känns lite onödigt att addera till det.
Så här står det i avsnitt 1.6 sidan 31 i detta dokumentet från Invesco
1.6 The Custodian has limited responsibility for the performance of any sub-custodians. The Custodian may, from time to time, appoint one or more sub-custodians to perform its duties in respect of the custody and safekeeping of the Precious Metals. In accordance with the Secured Allocated Accounts Agreement, provided that the Custodian uses reasonable care in the selection of such sub-custodians and does not act negligently or in bad faith in making such appointment, the Custodian is not be liable for any act or omission, or for the solvency, of any sub-custodian it appoints. Should any act or omission, or any change in the solvency, of any sub-custodian result in a loss to Certificate holders, the Custodian will not be liable to Certificate holders for such loss.
Som jag förstår det så har inte Amundi Physical Gold, Wisdom Tree Phyiscal Gold och Wisdom Tree Phyiscal Swiss Gold den komplikationen. Jag väljer mellan dessa.
