Hello,
Once again, my apologies for writing this in English. Please feel free to answer in Swedish!
Opened an AB this year. IT Consultant. I want to open a KF to place the extra money that is not wise to withdraw as salary or dividends.
I use Lysa privately and was initially super happy to see that they have an offer for companies. I was less happy when I understood the total fee would be about 0.6% per year. So I wonder if I should go for Avanza instead (if I understood correctly the only fee they charge is the fund fee or?).
Considering that I would prefer not to be very active in rebalancing. So it means that if I take Avanza, I would probably go 100% Länsförsäkringar global index (or I’m happy to take other recommendations with a fund mix, but I don’t see myself changing the repartition every 6 months).
For Avanza, if you don’t want 100% stocks. You could opt for the avanza auto series, where auto 1 is I think 10-20% stocks and auto 6 is 100%.
It’s basically like lysa, where you choose how much risk you want.
I’m considering the regular VP account for lysa, for shorter term 1-3 years money. But agree I would probably keep avanza for the longer term KF.
As a side note, lysa requires BankID. Meaning you can’t login or register an account without it while you have more options on avanza (considering we’re writing in English)
I’m 31 years old, so I believe I’d rather go 100% stocks (index) for this. I will of course keep something like 6 months of expenses in the company savings account. I haven’t read too much about VP to be honest, but Lysa says their typical recommendation is KF if more than 20% stocks. Also basically all blog posts online and messages on this forum seemed to recommend KF over VP/depå
Good point regarding BankID, I have it today but might not have it anymore if I decide to go back to France one day, who knows
Yeah so then definitely you should choose avanza out of those two.
And LF global is a good choice. But if you also think 20% Swedish stock is good (like lysa) choose avanza auto 6 instead. Unless you want to manage the rebalancing yourself
Don’t forget to read each fund info paper as well to not blindly buy things I say
I use both just in case something happens to one of them. Sure your money is safe in a KF but how long will it take before you get access to that money incase something happens to the company? Be if fraud, ransomware or something else we can’t even imagine now.
Correct, they only charge for the funds, the KF is free of charge.
I’ve chosen Avanza because it’s free, the cost for Lysa was the main dealbreaker for me. Another free option is Nordnet. They both have Lysa like fund robo advisors “Avanza Auto” and “Nordnet One”, both with a cost of 0,35% ish.
Fun that you ask this now. My original post is from September 2023, but I found it soooo not intuitive to open a KF with Avanza that I only got the courage to do it about 2.5 weeks ago. To this date, I am still, like you are, waiting to receive a piece of paper by mail with my username and password So despite Lysa’s fee, they’re just so much more convenient I would recommend people who haven’t opened their KF yet to go with them.
Not sure what would be taking so long for you, I called them to open a KF for my AB this week and got the login credentials this week. Two separate documents/letters.
I’d say it’s not very intuitive to get mailed credentials, but for me it went alright
LEI number is only required if you buy individual stocks, hence Lysa won’t be asking for it. Avanza should be good as long as you invest in mutual funds.
